Overview:
FlowPO lets you save a product’s cost price as quoted by each supplier. When you create a purchase order for that supplier, FlowPO fills in the supplier’s price automatically instead of the cost price set in Shopify.

Description:
By default, FlowPO uses the cost price saved on the product in Shopify when you add the product to a purchase order. If a supplier charges a different price, you can save it in the Supplier Price List.

How it works:

  1. Open the supplier. In FlowPO, go to Suppliers and open the supplier you want to set prices for.

  2. Turn on the price list. Select the option “Supplier has its own price list” and click Save.

  3. Assign product costs. Open Manage Products inside the same supplier and enter the cost price for each product.

  4. Create a purchase order. When you create a PO for this supplier and add these products, the supplier’s cost price fills in automatically. The cost price from Shopify is not used.

Things to keep in mind:

  • Each supplier keeps its own prices, so the same product can have a different price for each supplier.

  • If a product has no price saved for the selected supplier, FlowPO uses the cost price from Shopify.

  • The Supplier Price List does not change the cost price stored in Shopify.

Benefits:

  • Purchase orders match supplier quotes, so there are fewer manual changes.

  • PO totals are more accurate and easier to match against supplier invoices.
