Tax Exempt option in Xero bridge app

If you are not receiving tax from your customer or you are not required to collect tax then select the checkbox "Tax Exempt" on the 5th tab of our app.

  • When the tax exempt option is selected, orders will be synced to Xero with tax type NONE.
  • After selecting this option, in case any order is tax inclusive in Shopify then our app will sync that order to Xero with total order amount but with 0 tax.

For example, if the Shopify order amount inclusive of tax is $120 ($100 product amount + $20 tax) then it will sync to Xero as $120 and No tax.
