Auto Fill Strategies in Purchase Orders

Overview:

FlowPO provides multiple auto-fill strategies to help calculate and prefill product quantities when creating purchase orders.

Description:

FlowPO supports four auto-fill strategies:

1. Fill Shelves
Adds products when available stock is below the maximum stock level.
Formula: Max − Available − On Order
Example: Max 20, Available -3, On Order 6 = 17 units.

2. Fill Shelves (if below minimum)
Adds a product only when Available < Minimum. When the condition is met, it uses the same formula to fill stock up to the maximum level.

3. Target Stock
Enter a custom Target Quantity. FlowPO calculates the required quantity using:
Target − Available − On Order

4. Last X Days
Select a Shopify location or Entire Store, then enter the suggested days and sample period. FlowPO calculates average daily sales based on the selected period and forecasts the required quantity using:
Daily Average Sales × (Supplier Lead Time + Suggested Days) − Available − On Order

The calculated quantity is then automatically populated in the purchase order.
