Customer Mapping by Company Name (Billing or Default Address)
Overview:
We can enable customer mapping based on the Company Name in the Billing Address or Default Address of Shopify orders.
Detailed Information:
When this feature is enabled:

The Company Name from the Shopify order is matched with the Customer Display Name in QuickBooks.

If a matching customer exists, the order is synced to that customer.

If no match is found, a new QuickBooks customer is created using the Company Name as the Display Name.
This behavior is the same for both Billing Address and Default Address.
Example:
If a Shopify order for Robert Turner includes the Company Name Dynamic Ventures Inc, and this Display Name exists in QuickBooks, the order will map to that customer. If it does not exist, the app will create it and map all future orders from Robert Turner to Dynamic Ventures Inc.
Important Notes:

If the mapped QuickBooks customer is deleted or merged, future orders may fail to sync until we unmap the customer.

If no Company Name is provided, the app defaults to mapping by First and Last Name.

Orders without a Shopify customer are synced to Shopify Default Customer.
