Customer Mapping - Same Customer for Every Order

  • Pradip Ghanghar

Overview:

The “Same Customer for Every Order” option allows you to sync all Shopify orders to a single customer record in QuickBooks, rather than tracking each customer individually. This is useful for merchants who prefer simplified accounting or do not need detailed customer-level data in QuickBooks.

Detailed Information:

The “Same Customer for Every Order” option is helpful if you do not want to track individual customer information in QuickBooks. This allows you to sync all Shopify orders to a single QuickBooks customer.

  • Enter the Customer Name from QuickBooks in the Enter Customer Name field—this will be the customer to whom all orders will be synced.

  • Example: If you enter a QuickBooks customer named Shopify Customer, all Shopify orders will sync to Shopify Customer in QuickBooks.

  • If the customer already exists in QuickBooks, the orders will sync to that customer. If no match is found, a new customer will be created.
