Order Sync Based on Shopify Fulfillment Status

  • Pradip Ghanghar

Overview:

By default, our app syncs all Shopify orders to QuickBooks, regardless of their fulfillment status. This means that fulfilled, partially fulfilled, and unfulfilled orders are all synced to QuickBooks, using the Shopify Order Processed Date as the QuickBooks transaction date.

If you prefer to sync orders based on their fulfillment status, our app provides options that can be enabled either through the app or by our Support Team.

Navigation:

To enable Sync Shopify Orders to QuickBooks Using Fulfillment Date as Transaction Date, navigate to:

Shopify Admin → Apps → QuickBooks Bridge → Features

When this feature is enabled:

  • Orders are synced once they become partially fulfilled.

  • Unfulfilled orders are not synced until at least one item has been fulfilled.

  • Orders that are already fully fulfilled at the time of processing will also sync normally.

  • The first fulfillment date from Shopify is used as the QuickBooks transaction date.

Note: If you want orders to sync only after they are fully fulfilled, and use the first or last fulfillment date as the QuickBooks transaction date, please contact our Support Team. This configuration is not available through the app.
