This article explains the product stock quantity sync flow between Shopify and QuickBooks through our app when you are subscribed to the inventory sync feature.
Detailed Information:
The Inventory Sync add-on feature enables two key functions: it syncs newly created products from Shopify to QuickBooks and updates product stock quantities from QuickBooks to Shopify. When adding a new product, you should create it in Shopify—our app will then automatically transfer the product details to QuickBooks. However, please note that inventory updates must be made in QuickBooks, as the stock quantity sync flows in one direction only: from QuickBooks to Shopify.
Inventory sync is an automated process. Once you add a product in Shopify, it will be automatically fetched and synced to QuickBooks. Any stock update done in QuickBooks through manual adjustment, purchase bill, invoice/sales receipt will get synced to Shopify, upon notification by QuickBooks.
