Multiple Shopify Stores (B2B and DTC) – Flexible Sync Options Per Store with QuickBooks Online

If you manage multiple Shopify stores—some operating as B2B (Business-to-Business) and others as DTC (Direct-to-Consumer)—our app, QuickBooks Bridge, allows you to seamlessly sync data from all of them into QuickBooks Online.

The app is flexible and supports different sync methods per store, enabling you to tailor the integration based on your accounting and reporting needs.

Supported Shopify Store Types

QuickBooks Bridge supports syncing data from:

• B2B Shopify stores

• DTC Shopify stores

You can connect multiple Shopify stores to the same QuickBooks Online accounts and configure each store independently.

Flexible Sync Options Per Store

You can choose different sync methods for different stores, even when they are connected to the same QuickBooks account.

Example Use Case

• You have 2 DTC stores
  → You prefer to sync summary journal entries (no individual orders).

• You have 1 B2B store
  → You want to sync individual orders as invoices or sales receipts.

This setup is fully supported through our app.

Available Sync Options

Our app supports two sync options:

• Individual Order Sync - Each Shopify order is synced individually to QuickBooks, including customer details, products, taxes, shipping, and payments. The app creates either an Invoice or a Sales Receipt based on your settings.

• Summary Sync - One summary journal entry is created per Shopify payout in QuickBooks. For other payment methods—such as PayPal, Stripe, Afterpay, cash, manual payments, etc.—our app creates one summary journal entry per payment method, per day, provided there is any transaction for that method on that day.
