How are paid and unpaid orders synced to Quickbooks?

  • Shashank Pandey

On the app settings page, you get the option to choose if you would like the Shopify orders to get synced as invoice/sales receipt/Sales Order

If you opt for the invoice option, then all the orders be they paid/unpaid will get synced as invoices in Quickbooks. Once an unpaid order is paid on Shopify, then our app will create a payment in Quickbooks against the invoice synced by our app.

If you opt for the sales receipt option, then all the paid orders will get synced as sales receipts in Quickbooks. Any unpaid order will get synced as an invoice.

If you opt for the sales order option, then all the orders processed on Shopify will get synced as sales orders in Quickbooks. Later you can manually create an invoice for the sales order synced by our app in Quickbooks.
