Feature to send an email of an invoice from Xero to customer - Xero Bridge app

This feature will notify Xero to send an email of an invoice to the customer once an invoice is synced by our app in Xero.

This feature sets the field in Xero to send an email. This feature just sets the field to email an invoice and then Xero will send an email from their end. Our app does not have any control over how Xero sends email.

Once an email is sent to the customer then Xero will update the status of an invoice as "Sent" from their end.

This feature can be set on all orders or this feature can be configured using unique identifiable parameters from Shopify order. 

Examples of uniquely identifiable parameters are listed below.

  • Payment gateway e.g. Shopify, Paypal, Amazon
  • Sales channel e.g. Online sales, POS sales
  • Orders created/imported in Shopify using a separate app i.e App id
  • Location id of Shopify

For example, if this feature is set on the basis of payment gateway "Shopify" then email will be sent from Xero for only Shopify payment method orders.
