Feature to sync orders to separate Xero accounts - Xero Bridge app

  • Chirag Patil

This feature syncs orders to separate Xero accounts based on uniquely identifiable parameter from Shopify order.

The examples of uniquely identifiable parameters are listed below.

  • Payment gateway e.g. Shopify, Paypal, Amazon
  • Sales channel e.g. Online sales, POS sales
  • Orders created/imported in Shopify using a separate app i.e App id
  • Location id of Shopify
  • Country code either from Billing address or Shipping address

This feature can not be set on the basis of tags because tags are not uniquely identifiable parameter.

As an example of this feature, if you want to sync the online orders to one account in Xero and POS orders to the other account then this feature can achieve this requirement.

This feature can be set only on one parameter. It can not be set on multiple parameters from the order. For example, if the feature is set on the basis of sales channel then it can not be customised to set it on the basis of payment gateway as well.
